Thought this was funny!

My mom came up this past weekend to watch Eli for us while we went out for a night out on the town. We saw Aziz Ansari (from the show Parks & Rec) in a comedy show at Mohegan Sun and went out for dinner. It was nice to get out! I also got allot done on Saturday and Sunday in preparation for baby #2 (who still remains nameless...grr!). I have been having a ton of braxton hicks contractions that were actually scaring me quite a bit between Friday night and Saturday night. I knew they were fake because there was no pattern but they went on each night for over 3 hours at a time, I am getting to feel extremely uncomfortable as of this last week. I had a doctors appt. this Tuesday which I was eagerly awaiting to tell the doctor all my discomforts and make sure everything is ok. We had a huge snow storm once again up here in CT and I was worried I wouldn't be able to make the appt. due to the weather, thankfully when I told them how I was feeling over the phone they got me in sooner than I was supposed to be in so I could avoid the inclimate weather we were going to have.

The report from the doctor is that is all fine. I just needed to hear that. I was probably dehydrated which can cause braxton hicks and make them more intense. I don't know how that is possible, I drink a ton of water but I am focusing more on drinking water so I don't get scared like I was this past weekend. I am still feeling quite uncomfortable and the baby is not exactly head down he is trying to get there so he is pretty sideways causing more discomfort I think. My cervix is closed so that is all that matters. I have to concentrate on laying down in the evening more so than ever before. I walked on the treadmill 2 times this week so far and when coming up the stairs from my basement I feel like this baby is going to fall right out of me. It is not comfortable one bit! Walking makes me feel better for the moment but when I am done I don't feel right for a bit. Kinda frustrating.

Anyways, on Sunday morning before my mom and I went out to Babies R Us, we were looking at pictures on my my mom's camera. She had a funny video of my niece Melina dancing that cracked me up and I came across this picture of Eli she had! I couldn't stop laughing, apparently Grandma Neyda and cousin Melina had a fun time drawing on Eli one day on my mom's camera! This picture is from when we went to the Dominican last June so Eli was 10 months old but I found it funny!
